Would clear aligners be painful?
It is normal for patients to feel some discomfort initially because it is working to straighten your teeth.
How many hours should aligners be worn?
We advise our patients to wear aligners for around 20-22 hours each day. They can be removed while eating, drinking anything else aside from water, and for brushing and flossing.
Could patients eat while wearing aligners?
No. They should be taken out before you eat or drink anything besides water.
Is Invisalign® or ClearCorrect® suitable for anyone?
No. There are exceptions because it may not suit everyone. However, we know most youth and adults having mild to moderate alignment issues should be able to wear Invisalign® or ClearCorrect®.
What’s the difference between Invisalign® and ClearCorrect®?
They both achieve the same goal of straightening your teeth using clear, removable aligners. Invisalign® is the more established brand, backed by decades of innovation and research. ClearCorrect® is a more affordable alternative and our team will help you make the right choice.
